Dedicated to Empowering the Next Generation
We are the ears, the duty bearers, the guardians, the facilitators, the teachers, the leaders, the mentors, the coaches and guides who support children and young people across Scotland.
We engage with a wide variety of communities and we believe that it's important to support young people in using their voices in an equal, participatory and inclusive way.
We often have figures and data collected to demonstrate this level of engagement but that often fails to show the viewer or listener the real humanity behind it.
We wanted to show the humanity behind the engagement, real young people's voices, what would that sound like?
What if the young people of today could hear their voices echo back to them like an orchestra of hope from the future?
"Are ye hearing us? Aye" Art Project is a platform that underpins Article 12 of the UNCRC where the adults are encouraged to listen to previously unheard and under-represented voices in our community. Through collaboration and co-creation of projects like this we hope to gather voices from all over Scotland, like instruments and bring them together to build a Scottish symphony of voices.
